We will be here on Monday, then back to Mississippi for some family reunion action on Thursday. The hotel has WiFi so I will try to update w/ some pics if we have time between laying on the beach with fruity drinks and eating some awesome seafood.

Braves v. Twins

This weekend we headed up to Minneapolis for the Braves v. Twins game (B's bday present). Unfortunately, the weather was less than cooperative Saturday and we spent a good 6 innings getting drenched. I had packed for temps in the 70s and a 30% chance of showers. Actual stats: 57 degrees and rain. Whoops.

We made the best of it though and it was all good after a quick Target run for an umbrella and grabbing a poncho at the game. And hey the Braves won!

I was hoping to be half as attractive as this poncho model, circa 1985. Maybe if I had on my turtleneck? I mean, how OLD are these ponchos Target Field?

Harry has a BooBoo

The little guy has a puncture wound in one of his front paw pads. He kept reopening the wound when he was playing, scratching at his kennel, etc and bleeding all over the place so we finally decided to take him in to the vet. We take him in to get rechecked tomorrow and see if this thing can finally come off because he is starting to get SERIOUSLY annoyed with it.....fingers crossed!

Birthday Boy

It was B's birthday back on the 25th. Here are a few pics :)

The Braves t-shirt and the ISU mug were from my parents. I got him tickets to the Braves vs. Twins game in a couple of weeks.....at which we will probably be 2 of 10 total Braves fans in attendance. Wish us luck!
