The Griddler!

 Meet the Griddler. This thing is a panini press, grill, and griddle all in one. And it is awesome. We mostly use it for paninis but it also folds out completely flat for the other uses.

 It works best to use larger slices of french bread, or something like it. This is Tuscan Pane bread from Trader Joe's. Be sure and butter the top and bottom of your sandwich, or drizzle a little olive oil.

Once you shut the lid down you only have to press down for about 30 seconds, then let it go for about 2 1/2 minutes. The hinged top is weighted so it does most of the work on its own.

 Voila! The bread gets super crunchy and everything on your panini melts together with the cheese.

 Yummy, and very quick and easy for weekday dinners. Once you're all done, the grill plates pop right out and go into the dishwasher. Doesn't get much easier than that!
